IMHO the hardest part is cutting the tint....... which some argue is not hard at all.... but it is IMO.
There is a way around this now...... and I looked into it. The same technology that the vinyl sign guys use to cut letters out...... a plotter...... has come to the tinting profession.
They sell a plotter and a disc....... the plotter takes the tint from the roll and feeds into the machine ..... cuts it perfect. The disc software has templates for just about every car made. Perfect cut every time. The machine and software comes together and you supply pc.
Rig is not cheap though...... $$$$

I used to hang out on tintdude.com.....
I always admired a perfect job...... I sometimes used to look at cars parked next to me and see if I could find dust specks.
I did do the perfect job once....... 2003 Expedition. It was my masterpiece. Sold a long time ago now.
