07+ tahoe inquiry

Hey all, i'm looking into buying a 07+ Tahoe 4x4 for mainly commuter use and light off-roading. Im on $25,000 budget. What are some of the pros and cons of these vehicles? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I got my 07 z71 burban for 27k I'm sure you could find one. I haven't taken it off roading but it is nice on the road.

I regret I didnt get a 4x4. although I still go offroad with my 2 wheel drive lol. these trucks are great. havent had any problems. and ive had it for almost 5 years

They r tanks for sure. I got the z71 only because I got a better deal than I could when I really wanted a ltz. They had the same options so it really didn't matter. I will take it off road once or twice one day.

Might be hard to find a 4x4 for that money, unless it has a pile of miles on it.

I'm outside of Boston and bought my '07 Tahoe LT3 4x4 (lots of stuff like an LTZ) with 49k miles for $27.7

I wouldn't take this thing offroad (aside from a dirt road). There is way to much hanging down like the front lip and side steps...and these are way too pretty to get beaten. I use my Jeep Cherokee to go offroad. Driving fairly conservatively I beat the snot out of that Jeep and it has more ground clearance than the Tahoe.
