I just purchased a 2007 Tahoe LTZ. The electric switches on the seat will suddenly stop working. Either they all work or none of them work, (lumbar, and the other two switches). when they do work, they work fine. The motor doesnt sound like its straining or anything. Is there just one motor that controls all of the functions? just trying to get an idea of where to start looking

Just one motor. Look under and make sure the harnesses arent being caught up on something, and also check to make sure the switch is all the way plugged in. The switches do go bad from time to time because of water from rain, snow, etc getting on them when you open the door. First thing i would check is the harnesses not being caught, then the switch. if the passenger switch works perfect, try swapping them to see if that works.

Hello marionso14,

Congratulations on purchasing a 2007 Tahoe LTZ. I am sorry to hear you are experiencing an issue with the electric switches on the seat. Please private message me if I can be of assistance with answering general questions about GM products, locating a dealership or making an appointment with the dealership.

Safe travels,

Jennifer T.

Ok so this is really annoying. Along with none of the seat controls working, the adjustable pedals don't work either. And even the memory seat buttons. (The seat heater DOES work however) right now everything works and like I said before, some days when I get in it just won't work and then a few days later it will. I have checked wiring under seat as much as I can because there isn't much room.

Are these all connected to the same brain or controller or something?
