07 tahoe ly5 to ly6 swap.

So the Tahoe lost oil pressure. One of my options is swapping to a 6.0. I plan to turn it into a tow vehicle anyway so I'm thinking the 6.0 will be better for that than a built 5.3. my 5.3 has less than 120k and isn't knocking or anything. I found ly6 local with 300k for a grand which seems high. Should I try to get it cheaper and rebuild it or build the 5.3.

How did you determine it has no oil pressure?

That's where I'm leaning I seen with a mild cam I can get 500+ ftlbs which would be great for towing
