I installed the hitch cover today, no real issues. At the same time I removed the darned front plate holder. Yeah, there are two holes left to plug and a faint rub line, but it looks 1000% better to me! I even tried slapping a nice Z71 4x4 plate in there with a chrome surround and it didn't look good. So off it came. I took pics to include the Husky Z71 mud flaps I installed earlier. I'm used to them now, so they are 'ok'. There's also pics with and without front plate holder.
I moved the nice "Tahoe" chrome plate surround to the back and drop kicked the crappy dealer one...

rear hitch cover looks nice. i like to keep my hitch in though incase someone rear ends me. most of the time the hitch will take the hit and the bumber will be fine, then i get insurance money to play with :) has happened to a couple friends...

im not a big fan of the flaps but they look good

I like the look without the front plate, let us know how you take care of the holes. Yeah they need to make Z71 specific mud flaps. Just my opinion, I do not like the hitch covers.
