07 yuk passenger mirror wont fold in

A friend of mine just replaced oem mirrors with oem power folding and signal, he replaced the door switch so that they can fold. The driver side folds and works, the passenger side only does mirror adjustment, will not fold nor puddle light work. We know that the mirror works, we did a test connecting the driver door switch to passenger side mirror and it worked perfectly. So we figured it must be something with the switch, but we have gotten another switch, same out come. Do we have to change to the passenger side window switch also? Need help!!!!!

He will need the switches to be "flashed", or programmed, to work with the new DL3 mirrors. If that doesn't work then he needs to replace the passenger side switch, most likely.

He will have to take it to the dealer to get it flashed though.

+1 on the flash. I know with my Dode truck, when you install factory fog lights, even though you buy all OEM parts, you still have to take it to the dealership, and pay them $40 to have them activate the lights and switch. crazy, but true.

the passenger side may have been manually folded so you have to go through the reset proceedures to get them both to work with the button. Manual say if you fold either mirror manually they may not work with the button until a reset is performed.

Hope you have that handy because mine is in my trk and im in bed, plus on crutches
