Recently bought a 2007 yukon denali xl 1500. When test driving I noticed the air barley blew out of the vents. I thought it would be an easy fix so I went ahead and bought it. I have replaced the ac evaporator, blower motor, resistor, and blend door actuator and nothing changed. I've also checked all the relays and fuses that pertain to the system. At this point I feel like the whole damn system is new and I'm stumped. Anyone have this issue before and any suggestions on something I may have missed?

This model does not have an in cabin air filter.
UM, does the air flow change when you turn the knob or push the button up (you can hear it and feel it)
is it the analog control with 2 knobs or digital with a led display?
either way you should feel & hear the air difference, if not and you have changed the motor and resistor then the control must be bad, not sure why you went and changed the evaporator without checking other things first?

Welcome to the forum.

There are more than one actuator.
true but you have to start at the source of the air which is the blower motor & resistor, if you can hear the motor change and/or have it in your hand and see if it blows faster or slower or not when the control is adjusted, then go from there.

The fan speed does change but the air flow does not. Digital control. And honestly as far as my knowledge and research I was able to find goes that seemed like the next logical thing to swap as there is no air filter they have a tendency to clog up. Obviously that was not the problem this time.

The system has up down left right, the air must be going somewhere, you can visually check the actuator functions by just looking at the center metal part it has 3 marks you should see it move from end to end when adjusted hot/cold, up/down depending on the actuator if they all move end to end then you might have a broken blend door, it will take a little visual investigation, then pulling a actuator if the door is suspect

You have 6 actuators David. 4 up front, a Mode actuator, driver and passenger temperature control and the recirc or fresh air actuator. The former or the latter not working proper can bleed off air flow.

You ought to put a Tech-2 on it, look for internal BCM codes related to the issue and use it to manually control the various systems for diagnostics. It would have paid for itself already.

If you live near me we can hook up mine and have a look. There's a thread on here that might show a guy with a Tech-2 in your area.
