08 Denali Auto Ride Compressor Install?

I'm pretty sure it's straight forward, but if any of you guys on here have any tips or instructions, I'm sure I can shave some time off the install.

Kinda sucks.. My truck is an 08 with 45k miles on it (outta warranty). I know that may be high for an 08, but that compressor should still have held up longer than 2 years. I've only towed with the truck last summer about 6 times.

If you have to get another one, you may want to get in contact with Arnott suspension. They have compressors that are higher quality than the GM ones, for a cheaper price.

Apart from that, its pull out, then put on to install.

Another thing that could have caused compressor failure is shock failure. When there is shock failure, the system detects the truck to be too low and tries to jack it up (through the height sensor rods), but since the shock is faulty it completely stays on and tries to jack it up, making it overheat and fail. A 30 minutes drive of the compressor being constantly on can easily make the compressor die out. Also lowering the rear of the car can cause this if the height links are not adjusted.

Not trying to be grim, but you may be in for some more than a new compressor.

Well I can tell you this.....

The dealer ran the tech and it threw a C0660 code which said faulty compressor...

Other than the 26's, I can't think of a reason why I'd have a bad shock...

I had to buy the part from the dealer cause I'm leaving tomorrow on a 500 mile road trip and I'm going to be towing my 61 Impala...

I mean, if I let the dealer do the install with parts and labor, they wanted $650... Not happenin...

Is there something else I should be checking after I replace the compressor? I'll DEF be pissed if I replace the compressor and it goes out again next summer.
