I was having some transmission problems with my wife's 08 Edge Limited, so I traded it in for an 08 Yukon Denali on Monday. LOVE this thing. I'm 6'4', and the Edge was cramped, it's so nice to be comfortable when driving. Hard to believe, but I only got about 20mpg from the Edge, and this thing got 19 on a trip last night. I'm thrilled!

Anyway, the only issue that I can find so far is that the heated steering wheel doesn't work. I press the button, but the light doesn't light up and nothing happens. Any troubleshooting that I can do?

Picture ****: Here she is parked next to my old 99 Yukon beater with 250k miles.

Ummm, I feel kinda stupid, but no I haven't. Is there a separate fuse for the steering wheel?

Edit - Just looked up the diagram and there is a separate fuse. I'll check that tonight when I get home. Hopefully it's that easy.

if not, there is a specific clockspring for that steering wheel, part number is 25966964. It's about $150

I think its in the same fuse as the heated seats. Could be wrong though. Do the seats work?

So I looked through both fuse boxes last night, the one inside and the one under the hood, but I could not find a fuse for the heated steering wheel. Poured over the fuse diagrams in the owner's manual, but still couldn't find where it could be. Anyone have a clue where it is? Everything works except the heated steering wheel.

I searched - There is an inline fuse before the clock spring, under the plastics around the steering column

additionally, tied to #48 Aux HVAC-IGN in the fuse box

don't quote me on that, just what I found when searching
