08 Denali Heated Steering Wheel help!

I had an issue with my heated steering wheel several years ago. The service tech said they had to "unlock" it from the BCM? Anyway, it started to work, then wound up having a bad heating coil. They replaced it under warranty and I have not had any issues since. I think that was 2 years ago or so...

I searched - There is an inline fuse before the clock spring, under the plastics around the steering column

additionally, tied to #48 Aux HVAC-IGN in the fuse box

don't quote me on that, just what I found when searching

Erik, thanks for the info! I'm going to look for this fuse tonight and I'll report back with what I find. Fingers crossed that it's just a fuse. Long shot, but we'll see.

I know there are options for turning on and off some of the features when you scroll through the information display, maybe that's what they are talking about? I'm going to find the fuse tonight and go from there.

Just an update: I found the fuse under the steering column - it was toast so I replaced it. Heated steering wheel is working again! Not sure why it blew, so I'll see how long it lasts, but I'm happy for now! Thanks to all for the help!
