In my experience a Mercedes is no party to own either. They have overpriced parts and taking something apart as simple as a door panel off is a pain.

Had a fuel hose burst without warning.

Had the entire engine wiring harness insulation flake off in pieces. 400.00 dealer only item.

Radio system would clip when it got hot etc.

Seat belt broke by itself and would not retract.

Window regulator gave out.

Few other things. Germans make crap too.

Was happy to buy it.

Was happy to sell it.

I had a S420.

Very disapointed in a $65,000 product. Parts made of plastic are breaking down. Today is a door handle ($250 to repair), Actuator broke- waiting on others to do the same (dealer repaired 1 under warranty), Battery goes out- dealer says battery is fine. Had oil changed at dealer and oil gasket was to tight there is a small leak.
As an educator I can barely afford this car for my family. I'm very frustrated and considering never to buy GM again.
I owned VW,s, and Mercedes in the past and the quality in uncomparable.
I would like for GM to cover the cost of replacing all door handles, actuators, the battery drain and the small oil leak.
From checking blogs on Yukon Denali, I'm not the only customer with these issues.
Again, I'm very disapointed with this product. I don't know if I'll ever buy GMC at all.
Just an example of my other other cars that lasted far more without much cost then the GMC: 95 Mercedes C220- 170,000; 07 Mercedes CLS 500- 100,000; 88 VW Cabriolet 110,000.

Are you having issues or is this an isolated situation?
That sucks you are having so many issues, but why buy a vehicle if you can't afford it. The jones' are usually broke.

**Update**

Just got the truck back today. Was in again under warranty to have the front differential totally rebuilt as well as both universal joints.

Both rear universal joints on driveshaft were squeaking and loose.

Excessive play in front differential worn pinion bearings fluid grey with metal

All done no charge under a bumper to number GM warranty. That would not have been cheap

kinda luck of the draw i think. My co worker just got traded in his 08' Denali XL that had 189,000 miles on it and was just starting to have electrical issues. Drive train had been rock solid.

Fun thing was I got to drive my SHO around for a couple days. Its s fun sleeper
