So I bought a full system from NORCALSS off of his tbss owners store site. First let me say that he is top notch all around to work with. The products that I received were fantastic quality and he personally responded to numerous noob questions I had.

The plan was to do a garage floor change of all of these products. I felt like I had the expertise, having quite a bit of wrenching history myself. Here is the buildup:

At this point there is a good thing to note that the end links both point to the passenger side and they are DIFFERENT. The one for the drivers side has less of a jog than the one for the passengers. DJM supplied a set of instructions that failed to mention this. It is also important to note for the rear swaybar kit if they send you two wheel version it is missing the hardware to move the drivers side mount towards the passenger. The directions don't mention that either. After doing some digging on their site I did find that they have a four-wheel-drive version of the directions on their website so I went and bought some hardware and got the rear swaybar hooked up properly.

Not for anything but this install is a bear if your truck is like mine and had quite a good deal of rust on the components. I went through a can of Blaster penetrating oil and lots of time on my air impact. I set the truck back down and of course I got an ABS light (sigh*) and backed it out drove it up and down the street and it felt super tight. Any suggestions welcome.

Next: the front (in my mind so much easier.)

So the front: my undoing.

Everything on the front is 100X easier to get to. Removal is a piece of cake. I unbolted both sides, had a little difficulty getting the end links to break free, but they came out finally and I was on my way. I bought a spring compressor which worked well.

Another gotcha, the old strut top bolt was rusted solid (shocking). I had to lift the skirt and lock the shock in place with a pair of locking pliers to break the loose. I reassembled the strut and springs and was ready to reinstall. IMPORTANT to note that the strut is setup to go one way only and is marked on the hat with a notch across from the front mount. Make sure to even the ears on the strut to that before tightening but surely before you attempt to reinstall. Yes I felt like an idiot when I realized mine were backwards and the ears are on an angle. Finally got them in:

Next, the front swaybar: my ultimate demise.

The front swaybar looked like a cinch. It looked like you could unbolt each side easily, they were in complete view with the wheel off. I attempted to buzz them off after hitting them with some break free oil and didn't get anywhere. I did this with all four. After multiple cycles of using oil on them and attempting to break them free I used a breaker bar after really getting tired and impatient. Here are the results:

Son of a *#!€+! All of them snapped. I got ahold of the top of the bolts and again to my surprise in one of the many cups Chevy created on the truck to catch winter salt it was completely full of rust. I thought, what now? Buzz them off and then install like I did in the rear? I guess I have no choice. After that I walked in my house to find that I had a real world 'my dog ate my homework'.

Sometimes it doesn't pay to get out of bed.

Any ideas where I can score another mount? Do I have to go to DJM direct to get one? So pissed.

I did find that one one their site but it wasn't in the box. The instructions from DJM were all without pictures and were one page.
