No it's actually still my daily. I know a full spool in a daily isn't yhe greatest idea but **** it why not lol. Won't that bust the carrier over time from all the stress of not giving way while turning? A sled pull is on my bucket list, going to put a larger axle in with 3.73 gears. Your setup sounds like fun. Have you run her at the drags to see how much power she puts down?
There isn't a carrier anymore, the full spool bolts right to the ring gear. Unless you are talking about the axle housing which I doubt u are. My local town fair has a sled pull ever year. That's what I'm running 3.73 gears. I love it so far, besides the fact it absolutely destroys tires. And have not had it an the strip, just playing around in town.
That's what was in it before I put the spool in. The only real complaints I have on the spool so far is having to rely on the brake calipers to keep the axle shafts in and how it it's thru my tires.
I did mean carrier but was wrong. I still can't think how that will hold up in such a heavy truck. I had friends with 3-4K pound cars who broke them driving on the street way back when, with the same 10-bolt 8.5" axle. Anyhow, cool beans!
