08 tahoe long tube headers Cali smog compliant

Hi to everyone I'm new to this site, and even tho I have searched and searched regarding this topic I still can't seem to find a forsure answer..
I have an 08 tahoe 4.8l so far mods done: corvette servo, K&N air filter but going to upgrade to the kit soon, my next mod I want to so is Long tube headers because I've heard they are the best choice.. I found some on amazon for about $250+ for my car but not sure if those are ok.. Anyways my main concern is if I install long tube headers will the smog no longer pass? In in California
Are their any long tube headers that I can buy that will be ok with smog whenever I have to do it ?.. Or is a header upgrade just an upgrade where I have to risk smog passes?

it wont pass viusal period. I do a lot of these trucks in cali wont pass visual so will have to put stock manifolds back on. You rbetter off doing a stall converter

Thanks.. I still have a lot to learn about my car , gotta find out what a stall converter is (noob)... I really want the headers tho maybe I'll just risk it..
If i do get the long headers I would be able to install it with the stock car right?

stall converter will make bigger differnce then headers.

long tube headers wont pass smog in cali period. you can remove every 2 years for smog

Section 1.3.1 covers the visual inspection. After a brief skim it looks like you could do headers but they have to be CARB compliant. I don't live in CA so I could be wrong but hope this helps.
