Hoping to get some help here. My car is an 08 Yukon with Hankook Ventus ST RH06 285/45R22 tires. I have lost control of the car three times:
1. I applied the brakes approaching a stop sign at <10 mph. The car was skidding on normal road with minimal ice/wet conditions and felt like it was about to slip into the intersection.
2. During the snow storm in the Northeast the other day, my car was attempting to spin out of control until I caught it and was able to navigate properly. This occurred when making a left turn at low speed and the snow had just begun.
3. During the same snow storm, the car had trouble stopping as it was skidding at a stoplight.
Could it be due to my tires? I bought the wheels on here about 12000 miles ago. The previous owner only used them for less than 20k miles I believe. Does anyone think this could be attributed to anything else?
Hope for some help as I'm afraid to drive in less than normal conditions.
