I had a "Service Suspension System" illumination on the info dash display right after purchase. (used, over 100k miles). I have since done research and found that this is a common problem with the air ride/magnetic suspension systems. Since it came on during the drive home, the dealer (Dodge dealer) did foot the bill after some wrangling. They took it next door to the VADEN CHEVROLET dealer. Long story about them wanting to take their time with it, but after 2 weeks I got them to finish the repair (5 business days after receiving payment). I feel it was rushed since I refused to leave the dealer till it was done (took the mechanic 30 mins after he lied that they did not have the part, it was in stock a week earlier per service mnger I spoke with). Now that I have it home it doesn't sit level. The driver side which was the side it was replaced sits lower. Even got out a level to check it from the rear bumper and dash. Also checked it on multiple surfaces, just in case.
My question is this, shouldn't my Tahoe sit level now that the suspension system has been fixed? Or will it take several drives before it levels out completely? Thank you for your time.

Tahoe's normally sit 1-2 inches higher in the rear. Did you install different springs to level it out?
