Back in October i had the heads on my 09 Yukon machined because coolant was leaking into the cylinder head when it sat for an extended period of time. White smoke would come pouring out when I started it. The dealership did the repair and covered it under the power train warranty. Fast forward to nine months later and this is what I see when I start up the vehicle yesterday.

The car hasn't overheated or anything. I only drive it around 30 miles daily. So in the morning I will be returning to the dealership. Frustrating.

Front what I've always heard, white smoke is an oil smoke indicating an oil leak. Does it smell any particular way? Like oil maybe?

Dealership says coolant is burning again. Looks like the heads are blown....again. WTH? Don't see how this is happening again.

Hope it's covered under warranty. I have GM extended warranty (6 years 100,000 miles) also.

I am sorry to see that you had to visit your dealership because you are experiencing an issue with your vehicle. I am happy to assist. I see that you have some questions about your warranty. Private message me including a brief overview of your concern, contact information, VIN, and preferred dealership.
