when you say 6mm plate what do you mean? where did you order it? Waiting for my 1,25" spacers to come in, just putting them on the front to even my track width. Figuring ill have the same problem with them not being flush and like you I don't want to cut my studs. Luckily im just putting on front spacers.

If your truck is like mine the 1.25 spacer is not long enough to cover the studs. your need at least 1.5 or 1.75 adapters to clear them. Also you wont be able to center the wheel on the hub anymore. I did not want them flush my problem was the wheel are too small and the calipers would grind.

I had mine custom made at motorsportstech.com to fit the hub bore of my wheels. Hopefully I have enough relief in my wheels so I don't have to cut. So after you out on the 6mm spacer they don't fit your hub anymore? Thanks for the help man!

I know this is old but the wheels have been take off because I didn't like how close they were to the calipers. I'm riding stock shoes with the spacers still. Looks better than stock. I'm looking into some Granite Alloy GA9s now

Post up a pic of the stockers. Please.

Why would you cut the bolts, go buy ones that are shorter saving you time and stability and they will be way more reliable applying that much heat from cutting does damage to the complexity of the bolt, just pound out the old oned and pressure fit the new once. I had 2" specers on mine and they work and look great until I tunred the wheel while backing up in reverse. Loud noises make people look and I feel like a giant goober when they see this nice Denali making stupid noises. So I sold them and I sold the 2" spacer losing 1/2 of my investment. It sounds like you doing one oof dem down dere Oklohoma upgrades to yer perty truck you just bought down der. They make pieces for everything that you need to do with doesn't include modifying with a saw or cutting when. If you decide to take out the 1/2" spacers your not going to be happy putting your original wheels back on. I forgot to spit my chew while explaining.

ROBBIE MY Bad, you did everything right and it looks bad ass. I had 2" spacers that I put on my 2004 Yukon XL Denali with 23" rims wrapped with 305/40/23 Kuhmo SXT. They looked great sticking out of my fenders about 1.5 inches but then I went and turned the wheel and it rubbed not just a little it rubbed a lot. I tried everything. I pulled my body kit out about an inch and I trimmed off my washer fluid tank and cut a small hole in it so it leaked washer fluid. I removed my front mud flaps and ground down the side of the running board. It cleared the running boards and the body kit but it still hit my washer fluid. So now I took off the 2" spacers sold them on eBay and got $75 for them and put everything back to normal. I sprayed my windshield washer tank with that Rubber Spray in a can where they spray the screen door in a boat and float on it. Sealed the leak right up. Now I have been doing more work on the inside and outside. Tinting windows. Putting on a new xenon body kit. I still haven't removed my winter wheels(Factory rims) wrapped in new Cooper tires. Summer is almost over here in North Dakota so I'm going to leave my shiny 23's sparkled up and under towels in the garage over the winter months. You ride look awesome though good Job.

Hey all. Just ordered 4 1.25" Wheel Spacers for my 2003 Tahoe LT 4x4. I will put up some pix when I install the wheels and tires. Hopefully Sunday. I will keep you posted.

What size are your rims and tires you have the 1 1/4 spacers on? In one of your pictures You have a big space from your rotor to your studs, the rotors are usually installed over the lug nuts aren't they or am I having a brain dump here.

That huge space is the wheel adapter. 1.25 inch. They bolt to the stock bolt pattern to extend the bolts to push the wheel farther out. I got them to fit the fifteen inch wheels, the black ones. I got fed up with them cause they were too close to the caliper for my comfort. So I took the wheels off. So I still have the adapters on with the stock wheels. These adapters install on top of the rotors. So to get new rotors the adapters come off.

Axle>Rotor>Adapter>Wheel.

The truck with the stock tires and wheels with the adapter gives it a slightly bigger stance compared to no adapter at all. I like the way it looks. She pulls to the left a little but My tires are worn and something causes it to wobble when the brakes are applied around 35+ MPH and it wobbles around 70. Not serious wobble but enough to annoy the hell out of me. Still looking into it. Been to hot to work outside. I hope that helps clear things up I have never been good at explaining things.

Correction when I say stock tires I have 265/70/R16 BF GoodRich All-Terrains on there.
