13 ltz suburan screen stays on

When I turn off my truck the radio screen turns on until it times out. Ive tried the other doors and also took door panels off and pulled entire harness looking for bad wiring. Truck locks when in drive and unlocks when put it park. Wierd part is sometimes overhead lights work and sometimes they dont. Same with the chime for key in ignition. I want to put a driver's door latch in but want to be sure thats it cause in very tight on money. Any further testing advice

Might check power and ground at the dome lights. Power comes from BCM, but it needs to sense enough current to wakeup when asleep. When I installed LED domes, they would flicker when BCM was asleep..

Not familiar with chime operation since I bypassed them, but could be door switch or ignition switch or radio/amp? Scanner is probably the best way to narrow down guesses..
Might try disconnecting battery for awhile in case BCM or radio is glitching somehow? idk..
