$139.99 navigation map update for my 2017 Yukon?

With CarPlay I’ve never once used the built in nav. Apple maps, as suboptimal as it sometimes is (its leaps and bounds better than it used to be), is better than the built in nav IMO. Especially from an interface standpoint.

If only CarPlay would only open up the Waze app. Apple maps are good but Waze is the best.

According to what I read, IOS 12 will allow waze via CarPlay. I’m running the beta version and it’s not active yet on iPhone 7 Plus.

You need the beta version of waze also.

It seems I may not receive my invite to get beta waze access any time soon. Their focus seems be with the droid community currently.

If anyone is interested, I received an email stating that they lowered the price to $99.00 for a limited time only. Just checked the website and it is a lower price, still not sure it's worth it though.

Just got 12 beta 7 today. Waze isn’t handing out any more IOS beta files for now. Grrrrr
