Sounds like something similar to this for the 15+ Denali parts:

Some sort of parts restriction to keep you from turning a regular one into a Denali. (or at least an attempt)

It seems to me the 2015+ Denali have some "magical mystique" about them that just didn't seem to apply to the older ones. Starting with the fact that they are so hard to get.

What prevents people from using VIN's of other Denali's and saying you broke your grill? They are on all the autotrader listings etc. Do you think they would go to the effort to contact the owner of each VIN and see if it's valid?

The Z-28 is a very limited edition vehicle, the Denali is not, so that's not what's happening.

Any time a new gen comes out it takes a little while to get replacement parts for each vehicle, because they figure with so few on the road they don't need to go all out making replacement parts. And at the beginning they want to keep the few replacement parts they have to replace broken ones. OEM ones and reps will be available off of ebay in a couple of months. Within a year every K2XX part, including from a Denali or Esky will be available to anyone.

Oh and that Z-28 thing is a joke too, cause within a few months they'll be a plethora of aftermarket companies providing every part GM is unwilling to provide.

This is a joke right?

These are not Rolls Royce or Bugatti's

At the end of the day they are chevys gussied up with a high mark up. All the lame problems of a ****** automaker will surface like broke engine mounts and cracked dashes of the nnbs. Although not those same problems of course but just as lame.

In about 5 years these will be used cars and all kinds of morons will be able to afford them do all kinds of dumb mods to them like plastic dip and cockstars.

Denali are nice and rare now. But its still a mass produced vehicle. There will be more than you can shake a stick at a local soccer game in a few years

Also. Not gm bashing. I own more than a few GM products right now.

I think I might dip my OEM 22's and my Denali grille..... NOT! :jester:
