15 Type R build!!

Hey guys i purchased a brand new 2 ohm 15in type r to replace my dual 12in type e's. I am powering for now with my rockford 500.1 which can push 548rms at 2ohms. All i need is a box, i usually build my own boxes on my last two systems but this one is going to be ported (ive always been to scared to try to build one) so has anyone had 15in type r's? And could someone please help me understand port size and frequency? im planning a 3.5cubic ft box with a round port and tube, unless someone can explain how to build a good slotted box

try going to reaudio.com they gave a box builer there that is simple to use... it also gives you the cut list and all demensions.. its a no brainer.. works pretty good... gives you all info needed..
