Looks like I need new injectors. I will tackle this project myself as I cannot afford to pay a dealership. Upon researching part numbers for AC-Delco Injectors (GM 12668390) I'm curious if anyone here might be familiar with any aftermarket injectors that are 'as good' or better than OEM. I see a lot of cheap sets on Amazon and eBay but I'm skeptical.
Also, I need the fuel line, intake gaskets, .....am I missing anything?
FYI: I am replacing all injectors since I have 100K miles on them and if I'm pulling the intake... I'm not chancing on just replacing one. Plus I plan keeping this rig for another 100K. Also GM updated the replacement injectors to an improved version.
I have the following codes: p050D; p306, p219b. I have a slight miss at startup which goes away once at operating temperature. Everything I've read about these codes points to a injector. I've tried Techron twice and always run top tier gas but with no changes. I might swap the #6 coil and see what happens but a tech alrerady told me it's an injector(s).
Thanks for any and all advice!
