16 Yukon can't turn off Park Assist

The other day in a construction zone my parking sensors kept beeping from jersey barriers I guess. I turned it off. Turned it on later and today went to turn off now won't. Using button on dash light lights up as if its disabled but parking sensors still go off. No message in cluster anymore when trying to turn on/off park assist.
