stabiltrak monitors all those points of input and should you have to avoid a accident, swerve hard, loose traction, etc it takes correction action to help prevent a accident so if it see's something wrong with the drivetrain it say's "hey dummy"

Mine has been randomly in and out. The service Stabikitrak/Traction control would come on with no apparent cause, hang around, and then go away with no cause.

When tbr Stabilitrak light was on long enough the check engine would come on with the Cam Position Sensor error code.

If the Stabilitrak light was out long enough the cam code would go away.

Also funny to note that even if the service light was on, if I made the car slide in dirt or snow, the system would kick in and the light would go out.

I'll take what everyone was said and test a few things this evening to see what happens to help narrow anything down.

Yes sir that’s the module… So by any chance do you have a aftermarket radio or did the last owner have any aftermarket equipment like an alarm ( Besides the OEM keyless entry)… It’s starting to sound like there was aftermarket equipment installed and it wasn’t installed correctly… I have the complete electrical schematics from the OEM from 07-14… If you want I can email it to you… Also I have one last idea for you to try… Have you tried relearning your key??? Ive attached a link to the procedure…GM key programming
Hello. Not sure if this is an old post but I am currently dealing with a no crank no start on my 07 yukon 5.3. The wiring diagram would be very helpful and greatly appreciated! Guages went wild when headed to drop my son off. Made it there then the truck wouldn't crank. No idea where to start on this and can't afford to send it to a garage to sort it out. Any info and/or wiring diagrams would be helpful. Thanks in advance

Thanks for reminding me that I didn't finish updating this.

My Yukon is running again.

I bought a replacement Body Control Module from highway71autoparts.com. I ensured I matched part numbers, had them program it to my VIN.

Plugged it in and it fired right up.

I did not have to reprogram any air bags, or deal with any additional lights or warnings on my dash.

This did NOT fix my stabikitrak, or any check engine lights I already suffered from.

I now am thinking my stabikitrak is related to the Variable Valve Timing cluster of sensors on the engine.

I never had any dash cluster issues like BTRMJ experienced, but I do have a suspicion it could be related to the same module. Only a OBD2 scan could tell you, though.
