18 inch wheels already on my new Yukon

I'd guess someone along the 23 years of ownership, installed very nice 18 inch wheels on my 1995 Yukon. The tire size is 265/R65-18, Michelins all around.

The wheel appears to be OEM, year unknown. If anyone knows any details on these wheels, don't hesitate to post them. I'd like to acquire one more for use as a spare wheel/tire. My truck didn't have a spare available.





I need to check the tire diameter and compare it to what came on the truck, hopefully the diameters are close enough to not warrant a change in differential gear sets.

Looks like the nominal diameter is about the same.

Found out the model year for these OEM wheels. Didn't find the chromed version, but do know they're from late model Chevy's and GMC's. They are 18x8.

I almost got those for my 98 2 door but with the chevy emblem. Very nice looking wheels

Thank you. It's possible they're merely polished, not chromed. Anyway, I was pleased that larger than 16s were already on the truck, with tires that are in good condition, too.

Yeah those are standard on the 2015-2018 LT trim Tahoe’s and the 2014-2018 Silverado’s.

Good to know, I like them and the fact that they're OEM may make them easier to find if I need to replace any of them. I want one to use as spare tire wheel, which I'll mount on an outside tire carrier at some point.
