Reposting previous topic with more refined fit question.
Question about 18" replacement wheels for 2008 Tahoe.
I see many later model wheels but am not sure about fit. Because of the year only newer "takeoffs" show up (except for one replica pattern).
Originals are 8J18 ET31 but newer ones are either 8.5Jx18 ET24 or ET26 depending on year.
Bolt patterns appear the same throughout.
If I understand the nomenclature, it appear that all three wheels project the same amount inward but vary with outward projection, newer being farther out.
Would that be an issue?
Can anyone help clarify?

The fit...In my case, I have the 20s from a 2018 Silverado but there is plenty of clearance for 18s also. Just match the tire size or have your speedo reprogramed.

Look at my sig. I’m running 18”s and have zero fitment issues. Factory 265/65/18. I’m pretty sure you can run a 285 without rubbing… others will chime in to tell me I’m wrong if I am… they love that shit around here… LOL

Our Tahoe came with the 18x8 Z71s so I know those fit but I didn't know if the extra projection on the newer ones due to extra width and different offset mattered, but it appears not.
Fifteen years of winter chemicals eroded the paint and machining on all plus a recent incident with damage.
