Transmission gone, slipping in 3rd and 4th. Thanks in advance for everyone's help.

1. What is the labor time to R&R my transmission?

2. I was told that a 1995 L460e must be replaced with one from a 1995 because of the electronics, etc. Can anyone give me specifics on why a different year is not compatible.

1995 GMC Yukon GT 4x4, GMC crate motor (5.7 TBI original replacement), 35" x 12.5" x 17" Baja Claw Radials, 17" KMC XD Series Revolver Wheels, 6" BDS Lift, G2 4.56 Ring & Pinion Gears (front & rear), Raybestos slotted/drilled brake rotors with ceramic pads, braided stainless steel brake lines, K&N Cold Air Intake, MSD 6 Ignition, 500 watt sound system, Smoke Euro Style Tail Lights

If you would like any information on any of the upgrades (pricing and website of purchase), please email me at [email protected]. I did a lot of research and got what I believe to be the lowest price available. I have received a lot of help with my truck and have no problem helping anyone who asks.

Its not that bad.....I have done it 3 seperate times on my 93 4x4 in the driveway by myself over the last 16 years I owned it.
It was about a 4-5 hour by yourself on the ground complete swap.

Dont forget to do a rear main seal while it is out !!!!!!!!
