My 1996 Tahoe k1500 (220k) is leaking from the pitman arm like the Exxon Valdez.

I have 2 parts trucks that have boxes that I can pillage from

A 99 Yukon k1500 (150k) that looks great no leaks but I think it has that EVO crap which i do not believe my 96 has. Are the boxes the same?

I also have a 95 k2500 burb 454 (240k) that has what appears to be a bigger gearbox. it looks to be leaking as well, but would this be worth fixing and using to upgrade 96? I do not know if it has a different ratio or if it would fit.

I have heard that a lot of the rebuilt boxes are crap so I am looking at my options.

Right now after Christmas I am try to save $ and looking at best option.

I ended up putting the box from the K2500. I was not leaking after a closer look and it had a 3.5 bore instead of the 3" bore on the Yukon so I have more power.

It works great now as it did before with out all of the mes on the driveway :)

I think that it has a different ratio but it is not that noticeable
