Hello, Looking at getting a 1996 tahoe with some mods...lift kit tires rims etc....anything special to consider (has 170k)
This is what he sent me in email:
It has a high torque gear box it has a stage two shift kit a six inch pro comp lift kit with shock hoops and extender straps and lader bars has three pro comp shocks on each side of the front end all new pitman arm idler arm iner and outer tierods new fuel pump starter and that's about it.
Of course I am going to look at it in detail and check for leaks, repairs, mechanical issues, make sure all electrical system works, ac, power steering pump etc etc etc....I just sold my 1995 trick yukon and wish I didnt but now want another one....
Any input on any specific issue the 96's had that I should look out for..
