did that about 6 times, now, someone asked me if the car lighter was working and i told him yes but, in fact, the car lighter is not working but the 2 additional outlets in the side of the car lighter, are working fine. i checked the #13 fuse and is not blown. what could it be?

On the two door power feed passed to the locks is provided through circuit breaker on the ip fuse box amp I believe. it feeds a orange wire to the back" firewall side" of convenience center. Then another orange wire that plugs into same center with a port labelled grey and comes off to get split each side of vehicle for each door lock switch. Let me know if you need dsiagrams or pictures of center.

Lighter socket not working may just be coincidental. The socket do fail. I have all three of mine can be probed with multimeterin sockets and be live but plugging several different devices don't do anything unless they are plugged in a different car. On four dours with a door lock relay they use two fuses/ breakers, one being #13. Which also feeds center socket among other things.
