1999 2 door-New member and question

Hello,
I am new here and wanted to see if anyone had any experience painting stock wheels? I have a 99 2 door, 2wd that I would like to change the look of the wheels on.

Any suggestions? What type of paint? I know some use BBQ/grill/high temp paint...What grit sandpaper should I finish with? I should probably use some sort of gloss after painting, but what type?
