1999 Difference

i have a 99 tahoe. its the square body style, but why do most of the lift websites only say 92-98. is there a difference in the suspension or something?

application crossover between obs '99 suv and '99 pick up new looks I think. Basically people are to lazy to spell it out the details. the '98 tahoe lift should have no issues with '99 call the maker to verify and get actual part number.

Depending on the lift height you also may have to get a new front drive shaft because of the autotrac.

my mom had a 99 tahoe and against my 99 yukon both 4wd of course i couldnt see any notible differences in frame suspension or drivetrain so you should be good i think because its so close to the body style shift the 99 is kinda up in the air when it comes to parts classification with parts

True but autorac was available in '98 too so it is not the primary reason for the application guide mess-ups.

and yea i think trutrac came out in 98 right or 97?_
