1999 Tahoe BCM

Hi. I have a 99 Tahoe, 4 door, 4WD, Old style, 350 Vortex, 5.7 LT.

Can anyone tell me EXACTLY where the body control module is located and what color it should be? Any other details?

I'm not 100% positive about this, but they say it's in or under the center console. Over the years, Ive asked the guys here who have removed the center console if they have found it, but they have said no. But MOD swears that's where it is.

Because I've never seen it myself, I don't know what color it is.
I sure would like to reprogram it though.

I've been searching for my BCM in my 2000 tahoe Z71 and have not found one. Call deering Auto in Minnesota and they say there is no programm listing for 1999 tahoe which is what the 2000 Z71 is????????????
