loving the additional rumble and no drone even WOT so far. I'm running a BB tuned 6.2l Yukon Denali with Airaid JR MIT & K&N setup. I know there's a placebo effect but feels like there's more power too.

Highly recommend adding this muffler to anyone considering.

Besides the tune gave it some extra umph there is no placebo effect on a nice cai and exhaust setup. More air in more air out. However it is generally arguable by themselves without a tune the gains aren't earth shattering but usually noticeable. I like the rumble from a flowmaster on my v8's better but magnaflow knows what they are doing when it comes to exhaust. I have one of thier cat back ss kits on my 07 g6 gt and besides the car will never be any faster i get compliments on how good it sounds regularly.

Honestly the muffler itself doesn't do much period. Minimal if anything. The gains are mainly from tune and CAI- the Denali high flow cat system already in place. I had 3.5" to begin with.

the main restriction is the muffler and the section that goes over the axle on these trucks. if you remove the rear resonator truck will drone bad

I did not remove it- sounds great as is. This is a 6.2l Denali that has a little rumble to begin with. Sounds perfect to me now. Too bad I've been blowing my supercharger fund on an arc audio XDI 1200.6, focal k2 components, Audison bit one, Audison 5.1k, bit ten and now hertz Mille 1650.3 set.. It never stops I swear.

Ya the pipes on most newer vehicles are already mandrel bent and already at an optimal diameter the only real restrictions left is the muffler and stock manifold. But either way the best part of an upgraded muffler is a better sound.

Look at the bend going over rear axle on the stock 6.2. That and muffler are main restriction
