I’ve had a rough country 2” leveling kit for years with out any isssues. I deleted my air ride thoughHas anyone used this kit? Other than the links seems like this is th only kit available for air ride equipped vehicles
Deleting factory air ride, is this an expensive and extensive modification?I’ve had a rough country 2” leveling kit for years with out any isssues. I deleted my air ride though
No you just replace the air ride shocks for regular shocks. I ran coil overs up front to replace the struts for a better ride.Deleting factory air ride, is this an expensive and extensive modification?
Youve done this with the ‘21 and newer rigs?No you just replace the air ride shocks for regular shocks. I ran coil overs up front to replace the struts for a better ride.
If you’re worried about dash lights you got to get these things for the ride height sensors that plugs into them to keep dash lights off. And simply un plug the air compressor it’s a pretty simple conversion. Literally 2 bolts in the back shocks and a plug or two on the compressor
Front is the top 3 strut bolts and two on the bottom and the 2 plugs on the ride height sensors
No the 07-19s but it’s the same concept look on fox or icons websitesYouve done this with the ‘21 and newer rigs?
I suppose its pretty much the same concept. But it is a completely different setup. Those just had air shocks in the rear with typical coil suspension. These are nothing but air. Im sure the electronics are also much more intrusive with the new system and possibly a bit harder to bypass, but i havnt read anything about it or seen anybody that offers kits for it.No the 07-19s but it’s the same concept look on fox or icons websites
Ive seen some but they’re like 300-400$ for the harness thing. If their like the older Tahoes you can simply unplug the sensors and compressor and change the shocks out and it’ll be fine you’ll just have some dash lights onI suppose it’s pretty much the same concept.
