Im fairly new to lowering Tahoes / SUV's, but it is my experience with lowering numerous trucks that you get what you pay for ( cheaper manufacturing, poor ride quality, incomplete kit)
By incomplete kit, I mean alot of these cheaper kits are cheaper because they don't include some neccessary parts such as alignment kits if needed, shock extenders, etc. When considering the price to get additional parts to actually complete drop correctly, and ride good, you come out to about the same as it would be to purchase a premium kit and be done with it.
I personally haven't had an experience with SpringTech, but I haven't really heard anything positive from anyone about them, based on only a couple experiences Ive heard.
For static drops, Ive always either used DJM or Belltech products, though I hear alot of good things about McGaughys, but as with SpringTech, I don't have a personal experience with them.
There are a couple of sponsors on here that have pretty much the best deal you're gonna find on these kits, if you haven't already, I'd get with them, and see what they can work up for you.
Hope this helps.
