NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Do not take out the front bump stops....you want to cut them down a little and leave them in OR better yet order the short re-inforced Z71 front bumpstops from GM, $25/ea. Will save your fenders
B

I took mine out, no problems, Rides better. I had z71 ones in it, is it bad to have them out?

take em out and see how you like it. Mine are, its not sitting on the bump spot where they go either and drives alot better w/o them sitting on it. I know they are for the suspension travel or something, but just try it, dont like it, put them back on. I had the stock ones, then the z71 ones, still rode on em. then took em out.

Nothing. Feels the same to me. But i dont fly over bumps either. Dont hear the metal contact or nothing. Couple folks i know dont run them. IT does help suspension, since we have torsion bars. Im not saying do it, try it, dont like it, put em back in.

There are some threads on here somewhere about them. About z71 ones, none, and stock ones.

It was a rhetorical question ;) What happens is your axle hits the frame and bad things happen! Otherwise they wouldn't be there... Of course if your springs are set up to bottom out before you have metal on metal contact, then you're all good.
