Does Montana still have the highway without a speed limit or did it go away? Last time I drove through Nebraska the posted limit was 80. Still the same?

That went away with the threat of withholding federal highway funds. The interstate speeds are typically 80. I don't think speeding is a big concern for Montana. Back when they had the No Limit speeds, it was shown as R&P (reasonable and proper). In college, a friend of mine and I got pulled over for doing 125 on the interstate. The female state patrol did not feel that was reasonable or proper and gave me a ticket. A whole $5!! We were back up to speed in no time.

As empty as some of the stretches of roads were, it could be tempting to open it up a little bit, but the awe of the surroundings made you want to go slow to try to take it all in. A different view around every corner.

For future trips, I will get a black dash mat to prevent some of the glare reflecting in the windshield off of the dash.
