Well it's a longish story. The hybrids sit about an inch lower from stock than regular tahoes. By the time I was done, the truck looked beautiful, but the combination of 24s, drop, and the state of DC streets made the ride way too stiff and uncomfortable. The only way for me to improve it would have been for me to start cutting stuff to do the rear free travel mod. So I decided to take it off. But don't take my experience as one to go by, the hybrids are unique vehicles, with unique balancing and setup, and many who have bought the same kit I had are very happy with it. It just was't for me. So the rear only 2" drop is the only possibility for me as it would take less of a toll on the truck.

if your putting power out you need to cut the rear brackets off the frame because the front of the truck will lift up which in turn will make the truck squat (100 shot wiht a 3600 converter on the same suv as yours i saw this) and will make it bounce which in turn makes it 60 foot worse.

once you do the free travel mod you wont have any issues

here goes al ink

i know its not a short-base denali, but this is our Burban lowered 2/3 with Autoride on stock 20s. I went with McGaughys on the burban, same kit I had on my supercharged silverado (only that one was 3/6). Rides awesome!
