I have a 97 4dr 4wd Yukon with 2" lift and the rear is sagging. What have you guys used?

you have a couple options; new springs, get your current springs re arched, add a leaf, or take your chances on a set of used springs from a junk yard.

Thanks, I am looking to install new springs with 2" built into them. Has anyone else had success with a particular set of springs or a manufacturer?

I gained 2 1/2" of lift by slipping a couple additional leaves in the packs. I can carry a LOT more weight, and an added benefit is that I don't get nearly as much roll around curves, the rear end is much more stable.

You just need longer U-bolts, a Grade 8 bolt to bolt the leaves together (I drilled mine out from 10mm/3/8" to 1/2") and a couple of C-clamps to compress the leaves together while you bolt them.

I have alot of tools and gear that stay in my 99 tahoe and it needed some help bad. I added 2" blocks to the rear and I like it much better. More lift and tires are in the near future but this was a great temp. fix for 35 bucks from Oreily Auto.

Excuse the dirt, its hunting season. LOL :emotions33:

I looked at my rear springs and there is no arch to them when under weight, is that normal? That is why I thought about replacing the springs vs adding a leaf.
