I agree, it could have been a lot worse than losing a nut and bolt. It would've been nice if DJM made it a one piece bracket for the lower links and shock extenders. Oh well, off to the sketch board to try and figure things out:)
Hahaha, its a funky design for sure.

I really liked the design of that bracket. Stout and very functional and simple to install.
I tried making that bracket work with the DJM link relocate kit with no luck.

I did their spindles and drop struts on my Denali build. Love them, handles like a sports car...
What drop struts? Part number? Was it just the struts used with your stock springs off the factory struts? Or a new spring with the new drop struts?
Thanks!

I'm not sure what type of build you're doing but I would go with whatever @NORCAL SS thinks is best... I didn't run the drop struts for too long and ended up going with a QA1 coil over conversion from Atomic, before Norcall SS offered his own kit. Way better ride and adjustability with the coil overs.

Yeah, I'll pass on any suggestions from you know who.
I considered Atomic's stuff for the Tahoe. I like/use his stuff on my Silverado.
I ended up going with the Belltech coilovers for the Tahoe. We'll see how they do.
Thanks for the info.

Not 100% sure but I am running the 2511 on my AWD 2007 Denali... I would call Belltech to be sure.

The 2509 does say 4WD though: "2007-2014 GM Tahoe/Yukon/Avalanche/Escalade/Denali 2WD/4WD and 2007-2014 GM Suburban/Yukon XL 2WD/4WD"

According to the Belltech site, the only thing the 2511 says that the 2509 does NOT is this:
  • Can be combined with lowering spring, air bags or coilovers for a more aggressive drop
