Not bad looking at all...I think that's the only NNBS I've seen on one of the two truck wheels made by BBS. I've seen the same wheels on an NBS Tahoe. I first saw these wheels in person on the previous generation Sequoia. They shoulda kept the Tundra a 6-lug wheel.

Those are my favorite wheels. Been keeping an eye open for a set of them for quite a while. There was a set on Craigslist for $1000 with tires and I missed them by a few hours. Looks awesome!!! Nice addition.

Lug nuts

What kind of lug nuts did you use with these wheels? I have the same set and I have been told not to use the acorn style lug nut.

dunno on lug nuts, were on it when i got it

take the rim & SUV to a tire store, and see what fits.
put some baby powder in the lug hole, set a lug nut in there & spin it, see what the contact patch is,
try a few, i guess?

the local "rent to own" ghetto rim store has MORE lug nuts than ANYONE else in town.
no joke, they have a 2ft by 6ft RACK of lug nuts so they can put $3k rims on $300 cars :(

This is my first post on this board. I have been in the Suburban/Tahoe/Yukon family since 1982. Hi all!

To the OP. I just moved from a 2001 LT 4wd Tahoe to a 2011 LTZ 4wd (2001 was totalled when I hit a deer at 80 mph, sucked big time as she was a very sweet ride.).

I LOVE those BBS RD wheels and have been eyeing them in photos for weeks. I am curious as to the tire size you are running on the BBS RD's in those photos. Also, am curious as to the ride quality you are experiencing. Any fitment issues? Do you have TPMS? Issues with that?

Thanks in advance!

stock tire size, i think it is 275-55/20
FWIW, i would go to a 50 series on a 2wd, the front tires BARELY rub the OEM mud flaps. your 4wd should be good to go with stock size tires.

ride is same, offset seems normal, they don't stick out too far, or anything.

has TPMS on it, must be OEM, works with IDC on dash.
maybe the OEM tpms is the type you strap to the center of the rim?

i think they are awesome, and look good,
there are VERY few people who recognize them as toyoda rims :)

Thanks for the feedback! I saw a picture of these on a concept Silverado "it think" and they talked about how these wheels were actually reminscent of the old Chevy truck wheels. ARe they "Toyota rims" technically speaking? I was under the impression they were just BBS Truck rims?

I don't have mudflaps, so not sure if that will be an issue. You are saying yours is a 2wd? I do think the 4wd sit up a bit front and back, maybe clears then, hopefully.

Care looks great, and I will post some pictures when I am done.

I will have the Corsa Sport Exhaust, debadged, demolded, de-running boarded, front 35% tint, cross bars off roof rack, K&N intake, and maybe, just maybe replace the running boards with the 6 inch chrome oval since it appears the side door bottoms are completely exposed (as opposed to my 2001 which had a slight rocker underneath the door bottoms.

Thanks again!!
