Our 07 will be there probably before the end of the year. It has 198,000 and some change on it. Haven't had any major issues with it and hope it will make 300,000!

200,000+ miles

OP here...now she is starting to have problems. I'm not sure if I should put her to sleep or pour more money into her.

I found oil around #1 spark plug. I just changed the valve cover gaskets tonight. I'm hoping that fixes the problem. Also, the right valve cover looks a little more red then the left cover. Any ideas?

I don't agree with not changing the tranny oil, but I never do a transmission flush. The flush is what all the shops want to sell you, they say it changes all the fluid rather than just some as with a normal drain. But, it sends all the crap through the system, and in my opinion flushing is a leading cause of failure.

Just do a drain, pan drop and clean, filter change, and you won't harm the transmission. Sure there are a few quarts of old oil that stay in the transmission, but that's not a problem.

So many times this.

An automatic transmission is not voodoo. Pan drop doesnt hurt anything. Its the forced flush that causes problems in old transmissions.
