Ok so I just bought this truck a week ago as a good winter vehicle to get to and from work haul my snowmobile and kids around with and Im onmy way home from work last nite just normal driving home and SES light comes on Im like what now, go to the local Autozone this morning to have them scan it and its a p0300 misfire code ok,.....
from that code spits outs
ignition system fault spark plugs, coil or wires,
Vacuum leak
injector fault
high or low fuel pressure
But low and behold I go to leave autozone and as im pulling out of driveway the SES light goes off so with the communities wealth of knowledge any thoughts things to go thru????
Now previuos owner TOLD me that last year changed plugs, wires, coil and installed new fuel pump (although the fuel guage needle kinda buzzes at idle )
Thoughts Suggestions obviously this weekend when I have time Im going to change oil/filter and go thru the vehicle real good like I always do on a new to me ride to check over anything and get it on my schedule so I know where everything is at, should I just change the plugs too just becuase so I know its not that anything else I should check for
Any help is appeciated already have learned alot just browsing around in this forum and also being my truck is a 2000 but mainly with old body style features do I go wiht more info from the 2000+ side or 91-99 side
Thanks
