Ok.....so what I have is a 2000 esky and I'm trying to add a seven way flat trailer plug to it for the purpose of towing my new pop up camper. I'm adding a battery cashe to the camper so I can run off of the battery power when I'm not hooked up to shore power. I know how to wire the camper to charge as I'm in transit ...but what I'm a bit unsure of is how to wire the truck with the seven way plug! I need all of the usual ( which I already have by means of a plug and play T connector for the lights, turn signals, etc.).... now I need to know from what source should I run the 12 volt source from and if there is an easy place in the back I could run from....preferably a highem amperage source.

Are you running a brake controller? I would go to Uhaul and get a the wire harness for it. If your came with a tow package then it should be pre wired for what you need. Plug and play. I think they run like $24.95. You could also buy an adaptor depending on what kind you have. My guess is that you have 6 round. ?

Also seen on a lot of cars that people run a wire from the battery to the back of the car or truck with the Uhaul harness. I would call and ask them.
