Well wheels hit backorder again before it was my turn so I’m top of the list for the next batch when they hit the floor. Mickey Thompson is saying end of the month. Keep them fingers crossed it happens I need new tires bad...
On to stuff that’s happening.
Got a new drop hitch since my old one wasn’t going to be a big enough drop to work.
Prepping for new wheels, I wanted less maintance but I ended up with bare aluminum wheels, here comes the polishing and pitting hahahahahaha.
I cant sacrifice the look I want for easier cleaning, it’s not who I am, we work hard to have vehicles that stand out so I will just have to pay to play. Got some White Diamond, a PowerCone and a PowerBall to start with. About to order a bunch of Zephyr polishing products. I’ve cut, buffed, and colored metals before when I worked at a custom bike shop, I am actually a little excited to get to do it again it is pretty fun.
Transmission blows fluid out of the dipstick tube seal when I drive over 60mph for more than 15mins and there is a small hole in the dipstick tube where it has been rubbing against the transmission. Got the stuff in the mail today, it’s one 13mm bolt and a little wiggling. Should have that done in the next 30mins.
Dipstick tube part number for 2000 Chevy Suburban 1500 with 4 speed automatic transmission
