2000 Tahoe engine question

I have a 00 Tahoe 5.3. a buddy of mine just dropped a new engine in his 91 Camaro and asked if I wanted the one he just pulled. I'm not sure of a 91 305 will fit. He said yes but I'm just not sure so that's why I'm asking here.

Don’t bother. The 305 in the Camaro that year was 170 hp. You’re looking at 100 less than the 5.3 in a vehicle pretty much double the weight of the Camaro. Those motors aren’t sought after due to small displacement and two bolt mains. Also they are very abundant. But to answe your question yea you can get it to fit but then all the brackets for the accessories more than likely will not bolt up from your 5.3. I owned a 92 Camaro for years loved it but that engine is a ****.
