My first post!
Just picked up a 2000 Tahoe, the new stlye body. I had a 98 that I never should have sold, but the wife wanted somthing smaller, had the Equinox for a couple of years, bought a really nice F150 Crew. Anyhow to expensive to sit in the garage, sold it and picked up this truck Sat.
Where is a good source for parts? It's been years since I've done the salvage yard thing and it's changed, over priced parts! They don't even allow you in with the tool box anymore.
Anyhow, as with any 100K truck it needs a few things.
Pass Fog Light, lens is missing
Driver's remote mirror, just the glass (It has heated mirrors). The glass turned weried.
Roof Rack, cover on the rear drivers side
Rear Drivers side window regulator
Pass side kick panel (It's cracked)
Junk yard wants a fourtune for this stuff! $25 for a plastic cap? I'm in Wisconsin, really close to St. Paul, MN
Anyhow, where are you finding parts?
Also, I need 3rd row seat brackets. Infact I have a really nice Gray carpet with the carpeted factory mat, that I could swap with someone that has the brackets and does not want them anymore? I'll take your cut carpet and brackets for my uncut carpet and factory mat.
