Hi I'm new here and I have a 2000 Tahoe 5.3 2wd with a power streering problem. I used the search function before registerring and I didn't come up with any threads that had the same problem. My google isn't broken because I tried that as well...All the issues I found in google were steering to the right on 4wd models.
The problem: It only happens when I steer to the left. Doesnt matter what position the steering wheel is in, when I go to steer left it feels like it binds for a second like it has no power steering and then it frees up to normal. I can have the steering wheel in the straight position, all the way to the right, half way left, half way right, and as soon as I go left it does it.
Any help in the right direction would be appreciated. Thanks guys.
